About Me

My name is Emily and I am a 21 year old Level Five qualified prosthetic artist from Cheshire. I am currently studying for my Level Six, BA (Hons) in Special Effects Makeup at UCEN Manchester.

My interest in prosthetics began from an early age as I took inspiration from fantasy films like the Lord of the Rings and Pan's Labyrinth. 

In my final year I have been creating larger scale creature sculptures and props, this is something I enjoy and can see myself doing in the future.

 

I particularly enjoy mould making and have experience with Cavity Pour Matrix Moulds, Multi Piece Fibreglass Moulds and Moulding using specialised materials like F1 Carbon Paste and BJB Filled Urethane Resin.
